Urban Intervention & Semiotics: In 2023, I launched a large-scale guerrilla art action, "occupying" the streets of Budapest with over 50 custom-made emogram traffic signs. By embedding these emotionally charged characters into the city’s rigid infrastructure, I initiated a provocative dialogue between impersonal urban environments and vulnerable human emotions.
The Strategy of Invisibility & Identity: The installation was executed by a coordinated team of street artists under my direction. To blur the lines of authorship, each collaborator wore a high-visibility vest with a sign on their back stating: "I am kissmiklos." This performative element served a dual purpose: it acted as a "perfect camouflage," making the intervention appear as official city maintenance, while simultaneously challenging the traditional concept of the artist as a single, identifiable individual. By multiplying my identity, I made the "artist" as ubiquitous and anonymous as the emograms themselves.
Linguistic Synthesis: The "emograms" function as a fusion of typography and psychology. Each face is constructed from the letters of a word that defines its expression. In this self-referential loop, image and language become inseparable, challenging the superficial consumption of icons in the digital age.
